Fully Saturated

The 2014 Fall/Winter season is full of super saturated hues that can’t help but be noticed. Designers are creating a collage of color for the season, drawing from all ends of the color spectrum. Narciso Rodriguez’s bright orange/red and camel coat and the oversized hot pink and army green jacket from Altuzarra create a fabulous play on electric colors and understated neutrals for seasonal toppers.

Bolder choices in dresses are also warming up the season. Roksanda Llincic’s graphic cobalt blue and orange half peplum draped dress creates a funky new-wave feel for Fall/Winter 2014. Meanwhile, the bold lime green and hot pink cocktail dress from Dior features slits and cutouts that takes the epic design house’s classic New Look silhouette to a whole new level.

However, we all don’t live on the runway. Integrate this look into your own wardrobe with bright and boldly hued accessories. The bright yellow reptile collar from Cedric Charlier or Vivienne Tam’s bright blue crocheted collar bring a bold pop of color into any look. Accessories like these make this trend more wearable and less intimidating.
