The American Gem Trade Association (AGTA) has become a leading voice for the colored gemstone industry. Two of the most significant contributions to the trade have been the creation of the AGTA Code of Ethics and Principles of Fair Business Practices and the Gemstone Information Manual (G.I.M.).
Throughout its history, AGTA has worked in conjunction with other organizations to produce educational brochures, point-of-sale information, and training material related to natural colored gemstones and cultured pearls. We were approached to stimulate interest in AGTA and its programs.
We designed and implemented a series of clever ads intended to call attention to the benefits of being an AGTA member and to promote its educational materials.
The ads had an immediate positive impact on the number of AGTA memberships and sparked a renewed interest in AGTA publications and educational offerings.
