The blogosphere has exploded in the past decade. With over 30 million bloggers in the US alone, it is now harder than ever to stand out amongst the crowd. While it is difficult, it is not impossible and we have compiled a list of tips to help your blog bring something new and different to the table.

Be Bold:
First and foremost, you have to be bold if you expect to stand out. This means have an opinion and write about what matters to you. Research what others are doing in your niche, and find ways to communicate to people in new and unique ways.

Participate:
The easiest way to get involvement on your blog is to participate on others. Find bloggers who spark your interest and engage them through their platforms. Participate in forums and discussions to get your voice out there while fostering relationships and building community.

Be Consistent:
Consistency matters. While you may not be getting the engagement you were hoping for when you start off, just keep posting. Newcomers will enjoy looking at your previous posts as it helps build a better image of who you are and what your blog is about. Post frequently and give your posts personality. Worry about the value your posts are bringing to your audience and give them something that is worth reading.

Build Your Personal Brand:
Building your personal brand is a great way to become easily identifiable to current and future readers. Remember to think about all aspects of your blog when building your brand. This includes the color scheme, fonts, topics, and anything you can offer over other bloggers out there. Highlight what makes you different and why your blog is worth visiting.

Utilizing these tips will help you stand out from the crowd while building your credibility as a blogger.

Until next time,
Zeke
